Wine Review: This dark ruby colored offering opens with a pleasant black cherry and blueberry bouquet with a hint of cedar. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced, smooth and juicy. The flavor profile is a cedar influenced tart cherry with notes of minerality. I also detected hints of blueberry, black pepper and sage. The finish is dry with long and lingering moderate sticky tannins. This wine would pair well with veal stew with potatoes. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Deep ruby red color. Aroma: intense and persistent with the typical notes of sweet violet and wild red berries. An austere, full-bodied wine, with succulent tannins and fresh acidity. Enriched with an aromatic complexity that originates from a delicate dosing of wood. The perfect partner for grilled meats and rare carved beef.
