Wine Review: This slightly opaque and dark ruby colored Grenache based wine opens with a fragrant boysenberry jam bouquet with hints of black raspberry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic and fruit forward. The flavor profile is a mild mineral infused plum with hints of cinnamon, oak, and a dash of black pepper. The finish is dry and its moderate oak tannins are slightly prolonged. This food friendly wine would pair well with tangy pulled pork. Enjoy - Ken
