Wine Review: This medium purple colored Malbec from Salentein opens with a pleasant mild black cherry bouquet with a hint of red licorice. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, and gentle. The flavor profile is a mild red plum and black cherry blend with notes of stony minerality and black pepper. I also detected a touch of cedar and red licorice in the mix. The finish is dry and moderate tannins stick around for a while. I would pair this very good value Malbec with a beef fajitas or meatloaf. Enjoy – Ken
