Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Pinot opens with an aromatic raspberry bouquet with hints of strawberry and rhubarb. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied and slightly acidic. The flavor profile is a smoky oak infused black raspberry with hints of black cherry and pepper. The finish is dry and its oaky moderate tannins linger and are a bit tingly. This Pinot would pair well with a juicy bacon burger. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: The Garnet Pinot Noir is enjoyed for the right combination of freshness and extract, grace and length. 2008 is an outstanding vintage for Pinot Noir and the '08 Garnet reflects that–lush with bright, refreshing fruit and texture that mirror these flavors in a seamless, rewarding expression of young Pinot Noir. This affordable Pinot Noir is a perennial favorite during the holidays, and complements a wide variety of dishes.
