Wine Review: This ruby colored Pinot opens with a woody strawberry licorice bouquet. On the palate, the wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic and savory. The flavor profile is a gentle plum with hints of red current, gentle oak and a touch of black pepper. The finish is dry and its flavors linger nicely. The elegant Pinot would pair nicely with grilled salmon. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Bright ruby. Lifted aromas of dark cherry and plums, with hints of clove and spicy oak. This elegant Pinot Noir has a round full palate, with well balanced acidity and abundant ripe tannins. Flavors of dark cherry and plums dominate the palate, with spicy oak notes. Ageing in French barrels has lent warm savoury notes, which lead to a full lingering finish. An ideal match with roast poultry, full flavoured fish, spring lamb or barbecued beef.
