Wine Review: If you like dry Riesling, this one from the Mosel region in Germany is well made and very food friendly. It is light yellow colored and opens with a mild honey and faint pear like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic and round in the mouth. The flavor profile is a slightly tart green apple with notes of minerality and just a hint of caramel, lemon, and honey. The finish is dry, friendly and pleasant. This wine will pair well with grilled swordfish and roasted veggie skewers. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Color: Vibrant gold Aroma: Complex aromas with slate and mineral tones Taste: Full-bodied, rich, smooth, creamy texture backed by firm acidity Outstanding with savory meats such as duck, goose, veal and turkey, as well as rich seafood such as lobster and monkfish. Also delicious with strong blue cheeses.
