Wine Review: This dark yellow colored Chard was one of the best Chards that we tried this month. It opens with an apple and light pineapple like bouquet with a hint of light oak. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, very nicely balanced, and creamy with golden delicious apple and ripe Bartlett pear like flavors. There were also notes of butter and light oak detected as well. The finish is dry and land very softly. This delicious Chard would pair very well with Chicken St. Timothy or any other chicken dish smothered in cream sauce. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: This Burgundian-style barrel-fermented Chardonnay possesses an alluring flinty minerally quality and loads of finesse. It’s packed with aromas and flavors of apple, citrus, and fig as well as plenty of toasty, nutty nuance imparted by the well-integrated oak.
