Wine Review: If you appreciate South African wines, you will really like this impressive pitch black colored Cabernet Sauvignon. It opens with an attractive blackberry jam bouquet with hints of boysenberry and faint oak. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, juicy and slightly acidic. The flavor profile is a tasty mild smoked beef jerky and cedar blend with notes of black olive, blackberry and a touch of plum. This unique flavor profile works as this Cab is very good. It closes with a finish that has moderate refined tannins that do not get in the way. I would enjoy this tasty Cab with Brazilian beef kebabs. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: This elegant Cabernet joins the Syrah under Thelema winemaker Rudi Schultz’s Rudi Schultz label. Aromas and flavors of dark fruit, earth and spice lead to balanced palate with excellent length.
