Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Syrah from South Africa opens with a mild black cherry and gentle oak bouquet with hints of menthol and anise. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and juicy. The flavor profile is a cedar infused plum with hints of black pepper, minerality and black cherry. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins are sticky and linger for a bit. The panel suggested pairing this very good Syrah with chicken with a fig sauce or Spanish olive chicken. Enjoy – KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: This stunning Syrah boasts beautiful aromas of blackberry, black cherry, raspberry and pepper that follow through on the lengthy palate.
