Wine Review: This deep ruby colored Cabernet Sauvignon opens with a black currant and gentle oak bouquet with hints of cherry, Christmas spice and anise. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied, balanced, soft and smooth. The flavor profile is dark chocolate and black cherry blend with notes of oak. We also detected hints of minerality. black tea, blackberry and anise. The finish features moderate chewy dry tannins that build-up and linger for quite some time. The Panel would pair this Cab with Roy’s rib roast or a bacon wrapped filet. Enjoy – KWGTP
