Wine Review: This pale straw-colored Chardonnay from Oregon opens with a matchstick and apple bouquet with hints of lemon and light butterscotch. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round and bright for a Chard. The flavor profile is a chamomile tea and Anjou pear with notes of chalky minerality. We also detected a hints of lemon verbena, oak, and saline. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity show nice length. This Chard would pair well with pan fried trout with lemon butter or Dover sole. Enjoy - KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: The 2019 Roserock Chardonnay is a gorgeous expression of vineyard and vintage. The light-yellow color is striking, and the aromatics of green apple, lemon tart, and light vanilla are immediate and magnetic. It begins as generous and round on the palate, then turns more focused with lingering stony elements and precise acidity.
