Wine Review: This translucent dark red colored Pinot Noir from Rombauer opens with a red raspberry and cranberry bouquet with hints of book leather and iris. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, juicy, smooth, and savory. The flavor profile is cherry-vanilla and tart pomegranate blend with notes of raspberry and clove. We also detected some stony minerality and dried strawberry. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity linger for quite some time. The Tasting Panel would recommend decanting this Pinot in the near term and then pairing it with grilled lamb lollipops. Enjoy – KWGTP
