Wine Review: This silky and soft Cabernet Sauvignon is delicious and very approachable. Deep purple in color, it has an intense bouquet of red plum, black cherry, oak, baking spice, vanilla, and wet gravel. On the palate, it is medium-plus bodied, supple, and nicely balanced with medium acidity. I found flavors of blackberry, black plum, anise, and black tea. There are also notes of cedar, raspberry, and herbs. The finish is dry with soft tannins and lasts a long time. Pair with tenderloin medallions with a red wine reduction sauce. – Mark
Winemaker Notes: This wine is deep purple with a bright fuchsia rim. The nose is expressive, with aromas of red cherry and sage with a hint of violet, spice, and toast. The wine is full-bodied, packed with flavors of raspberry and black cherry, along with notes of violet and toast from the oak. Supple tannins carry through to a fine and smooth finish. Pair with braised short ribs and lasagna Bolognese.
