Wine Review: This unique straw-colored Chardonnay from Rombauer opens with a coconut cream pie bouquet with hints of wet stone and pineapple. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, acidic and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a toasted coconut and almond blend with notes of oak and lemon. We also detected hints of toasted marshmallow and banana. The finish is dry and its flavors show very nice length for a Chard. The Panel suggested drinking this Chard on its own or with Nilla wafers. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Enticing aromas of vanilla, peach and mango are layered with apricots, creme brulee, butter and a slight minerality. Those scents are echoed as flavors on the creamy, rich palate, along with peach, pie crust and baking spices. The long, smooth finish is marked by mouthwatering acidity.
