Wine Review: This dark ruby colored red blend from down under, opens with a fragrant plum bouquet with hints of strawberry, licorice, and red raspberry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic, fruit forward, and savory. The flavor profile is red currant with notes of black pepper, plum, and red raspberry. There is a touch of oak as well. The finish is dry and its mild tannins are approachable and linger slightly. This wine would pair well with pork tenderloin. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: “rilliant crimson colour, very bright, almost glowing and pales a little at the rim; pure, fragrant aroma at times floral and violets come to mind but also showing warm climate richness and ripeness; the palate is much more delicate than that of shiraz and builds gradually in the mouth and finishes with satisfying, delicious fruit and fine tannins. - Rolf Binder
