Wine Review: This green tinged pale straw colored Sauvignon Blanc from Rodney Strong opens with a light-yellow grapefruit and lime zest bouquet with a hint of sea spray. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with plus acidity. The mouthfeel is slightly angular, bright, and zesty. The flavor profile is tart lime and stony minerality blend with notes mild yellow grapefruit and tonic water. The finish is dry and refreshing. I would pair this Sauvignon Blanc with fried clams.
