Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Cabernet Sauvignon opens with a craisin and pomegranate bouquet with hints of strawberry licorice. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with notes of medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, and fresh for a Cab. The flavor profile is a cranberry and red plum blend with notes of cedar and cinnamon. I also detected hints of red raspberry. The finish is dry and its flavors and mild tannins drift away nicely.
