Wine Review: This translucent and very pale straw-colored Sauvignon Blanc from Rodney Strong opens with a honeydew melon, kiwi, and light lime bouquet with a hint of grapefruit. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with plus acidity. The mouthfeel is bright, mouthwatering, and savory. The flavor profile is a lime and saline blend with notes of grapefruit and chalky minerality. I also detected hints of ginger and white pepper. The finish is dry and very refreshing.
