Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Rodney Strong opens with a mild black currant and roses bouquet with hints of milk chocolate, cinnamon, and cedar. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, and supple. The flavor profile is a mild black currant and cedar blend with notes of tart red plum and red cherry. We also detected hints of milk chocolate, tarragon, and green olive. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and moderate tannins build-up and linger nicely. This wine benefits from a little aeration. The Tasting Panel would decant this Cab for a bit before pairing it with a New York strip steak. Enjoy - KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: The 2020 Rockaway has wonderful, concentrated flavors of dark plum and red currant with notes of tobacco and cedar.
