Wine Review: This opaque and midnight blue colored Cabernet from the Alexander Valley opens with a black currant like bouquet with hints of blueberry and black cherry. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, smooth and very fruit forward with ripe fruits. The flavor profile is a ripe black raspberry jam with notes of integrated oak, cherry cola and a touch of black currant. The finish is dry and its prominent fruit flavors linger and last for quite some time. This wine would pair well with roast duck breast. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: This intense Cabernet exhibits ripe flavors centered on cassis, black cherry and red fruits, with hints of dried herbs and cocoa enveloped by soft tannins with a lingering finish and balanced acidity.
