Wine Review: This dark yellow colored Chardonnay opens with a faint lemon bouquet with a hint of banana crème pie. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied and balanced with a pleasant creamy mouthfeel. The flavor profile is an oak influenced lemon verbena with notes of minerality and white pepper. I also detected hints of pineapple and touch of yellow grapefruit. The finish is dry and has some length to it. I would pair this Chard with chicken piccata. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: I’m grateful to have a family "hook-up" on this fruit because it is good stuff. The 2016 is a vibrant version of this wine with beautiful aromas of minerality, caramel cream and butterscotch followed by juicy fruit flavors of mango, apple and angel food cake.
