Wine Review: This ruby colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Rock Wall opens with a mild black currant bouquet with a hint of red cherry and green olive. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and a bit juicy. The flavor profile is a gentle red currant and plum blend with hints of raspberry tea and a touch of cinnamon spice. The finish is dry and its flavors and moderate tannins drift away nicely. This Cab would pair well with a barbecue pulled pork platter. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: This Cabernet is everything. Sensational pyrazine aromas of green bell pepper, jalapeno and Kalamata olive greet one’s nose followed by intense flavors of blueberry, blackberry, black tea and a vanilla mocha finish. It’s really good, and it was made with tons of East Bay Love!
