Wine Review: This 100% Sangiovese wine from Italy is a medium purple color and has a bouquet of blackberry, blueberry jam, green herbs and some brackish notes. It has a medium body and medium acidity, is round, balanced, very flexible and food friendly. This combination makes it a good weeknight bottle. I got flavors of raisin, dried cherry, dark plum and cinnamon. The finish is dry with grippy tannins and it has moderate length. This good value wine would be perfect for your take-out pizza. - Mark
