Wine Review: This dark straw colored Soave opens with a cantaloupe bouquet with a hint of tangerine and light beer. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, pleasantly acidic and juicy. The flavor profile is a tasty mineral infused tangerine with notes of pilsner beer and a touch of ginger ale and white pepper. The finish is semi-dry and very refreshing. I would bring this Soave to the beach and serve it with thick slices of Kerrygold Dubliner cheese on stone wheat crackers. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Appearance: Luminous straw yellow. Bouquet: Generous fragrances of blossoms and fruit; ripe apple in particular. Palate: Beautifully well balanced, stylish, and harmonious with appealing full flavors, combination of fresh, lively acidity with a pleasant almond finish (characteristic of the Garganega grape). Pairings: Enjoy as an aperitif or with appetizers, salads, chicken and fresh seafood.
