Wine Review: This translucent and white gold-tinged Riesling from Robert Weil opens with a honeydew, gardenia, and white peach bouquet with hints of wet stone and yellow grapefruit. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel balanced, round, bright, clean, and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a tangy ripe white peach and mild flinty minerality blend with notes of green apple, apricot, and saline. We also detected a hint of ginger and grapefruit pith. The finish is off-dry, and its acidity and flavors display very nice moderate length. We would pair this Riesling with chicken piccata or with linguini with a white wine clam broth. Enjoy – Ken and Mark
Winemaker Notes: The estate-grown Riesling Tradition is a classic rendition of the traditional off-dry style that made the Rheingau famous. A versatile partner at the dinner table, it has an alluring and delicate touch of sweetness paired with tantalizing fruit aromas. It dances on your palate in a perfect pirouette of charm and elegance.
