Wine Review: This almost clear colored Riesling from Robert Weil opens with a fragrant floral bouquet with a hint of wet slate and lime zest. On the palate, this wine is light bodied with zesty plus acidity. The flavor profile is a saline and lime blend with notes of ginger and green apple. There is also a hint of pink grapefruit in the aftertaste. The finish is dry and pleasantly refreshing. I would pair this dry Riesling with juicy seared sea-scallops. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: The Robert Weil line of estate wines begins with this medium-bodied dry Riesling that shows the typical density and power of the Rheingau region. The Riesling Trocken is pure and intense, with a stony richness and a lively, well-balanced structure.
