Wine Review: This pale-straw colored Riesling from Robert Weil opens with an inviting citrus bouquet that includes tangerines and key lime. I also noted some apricot and hints of lemon. On the palate, this Riesling is smooth, juicy, crisp, slightly sweet and slightly effervescent. The flavor profile is lemon, honey and Bosc pear with notes of green apple. I also noted that the acidity is slightly elevated, but I found it pleasantly integrated. The finish is off-dry, palate filling and faded away nicely. If not sipping this very good Riesling on its own, I would recommend pairing it with Vietnamese shrimp curry. Enjoy - Joe
Winemaker Notes: The Estate Riesling "Tradition" is a classic rendition of the traditional off-dry style that made the Rheingau famous. The 2018 Riesling Tradition has alluring, and delicate residual sweetness paired with tantalizing fruit aromas; a perfect pirouette of charming sweetness and crisp acidity.
