Wine Review: This very pale straw colored Riesling from the Rheingau opens with a faint anise bouquet and a hint of lime. On the palate, this wine is light bodied, delicate and mainly dry. The flavor profile is a and mild lemon-lime blend with nicely integrated gentle minerality hints of green apple. The finish is off-dry and glides away nicely. This Riesling is a bit of a quaffer and would pair nicely with fried seafood like calamari, clams and scallops. Enjoy - Ken
