Wine Review: This almost clear colored Riesling from the Rheingau opens with faint pear and wet stone bouquet. On the palate, this wine is light bodied, slightly acidic and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a lemon-lime blend with nice integrated gentle minerality and notes of tangerine throughout. The finish is semi-dry and its flavors drift away nicely. This Riesling is food friendly and would pair well with broiled scallops with an orange butter sauce. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: The 2013 Riesling Tradition is pure and stony, with a compact, masculine structure. The bright acidity of the vintage makes the sweetness barely perceptible, but just enough to beautifully enhance the wine’s fine fruitiness
