Wine Review: This almost clear colored Riesling from the Rheingau opens with a ginger and light lemon bouquet. On the palate, this wine is light bodied, slightly acidic and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a mineral infused lime with notes of green tea. I also detected a touch of lemon verbena and candied ginger. The finish is off-dry and its ripe fruit and acidity linger and last for quite a while. This Riesling would pair perfectly with macaroons. Enjoy - Ken
