Wine Review: This light yellow colored offering from Napa is for fans of fruit driven Chardonnay. It opens with light lemon and vanilla oak like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, rather acidic and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a citrus blend of bright lemon with notes of tangerine and faint pineapple. I also detected some very subtle light oak in the distance. The finish is dry and its fruit flavors linger for a bit. This wine would pair well with broiled scallops. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: The rich, vibrant essence of Chardonnay: Bright, enticing fruity aromas - juicy Honeycrisp apple, citrus-laced Asian pear, ripe melon and fresh quince - are intermingled with vanilla-scented creme brulee, subtle minerality, and traces of warm hazelnut and clove. These elements segue seamlessly to the palate, offering a lush, creamy mouth feel impeccably balanced by crisp, mouthwatering acidity.
