Wine Review: This deep purple colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley opens with mild black currant, espresso, and graphite bouquet with hints of black cherry. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with integrated acidity. The mouthfeel is very round. The flavor profile is rich blend of espresso and blueberry along with notes of macerated maraschino cherry and boysenberry. We also detected hints of graphite and fig mixed in. The finish is dry and its moderate dusty tannins build-up and stick around for a while. This wine benefits from some aeration as its flavors evolve as it opens up. The Panel would pair this Cab with beef wellington or veal osso buco. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: The result is a real mouthful of cherries jubilee. Huge yet soft on the palate, a flood of goodness is framed in the gentle grip of soft tannin. This is an integrated, balanced, and structured 100% Cabernet Sauvignon now and for the ages.
