Wine Review: This opaque and very dark ruby colored Cabernet Sauvignon is Excellent! It opens with a pleasant plum and red currant bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced and savory. The flavor profile is a very tasty black currant with notes of oak. We also detected hits of amaretto, fig paste and blueberry at the very end. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins stick around for a very long time. The Panel suggested pairing gem with a well-marbled ribeye at your favorite steakhouse. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Ripe black cherry and rhubarb pie aromas, a thick almost sweet mouth-coating middle give way to the elegant finish. Oak character is well-integrated with the fruit. This vintage is delicious in its youth but will continue to deliver with many years of proper bottle aging.
