Wine Review: This clear medium ruby colored Zinfandel from Biale opens with blackberry and mild strawberry jam bouquet with hints of wet stone and loam. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel is round, balanced and a little mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a crushed stone and black raspberry blend with notes of cola, red plum, and cinnamon. We also detected hints of licorice, cedar, and black pepper. The finish is dry and its dusty tannins build-up and stick around for quite a while. The Tasting Panel would pair this big boy Zin with grilled Angus steak tips or with Korean barbecue ribs. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Inky in color with attractive aromatics. This age-worthy wine exhibits notes of pear, Bing Cherry, cream soda, taffy, and stone fruit. The palate is lively with bold fruit flavors and bright acidity which leads to a long, mouthwatering finish.
