Wine Review: This white gold colored Chardonnay from Chile opens with a pineapple and toasted marshmallow bouquet with hints of oak and pear. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round and bright. The flavor profile is a and oak influenced pineapple and Anjou pear blend with notes of spice, ginger, and honey. I also detected some hints of orange zest towards the end. The finish is dry and refreshing for a Chard. I would pair this Chard with a crab and corn chowder. Enjoy - Ken
