Wine Review: This white gold colored Sauvignon Blanc from Riley’s Rows is very good. It opens with a fragrant yellow grapefruit bouquet with hints of lime, green apple, and river stones. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with moderate plus acidity. The mouthfeel is soft, round, and zesty. The flavor profile is white grapefruit and stony minerality with notes of saline, lime, and white pepper. We also detected hints of lychee and lemongrass. The finish is dry and refreshing. This Sauvignon Blanc is young and really benefits from aeration. The Tasting Panel would open this wine early or swirl it a lot before serving it. Then serve it with swordfish skewers or steamed clams. Enjoy – KWGTP
