Wine Review: This dark red colored blend from Riley’s Row is very good. It opens with a ripe black cherry and cedar bouquet with a hint of Teaberry gum. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, smooth and pleasantly coats your mouth. The flavor profile is a black cherry and menthol blend with notes of cedar plank and blackberry. I also detected some hints of stony minerality, cured meat and Teaberry gum. The finish is dry, and its flavors and moderate tannins stick around for a while. I would pair this wine with veal marsala. Enjoy - Ken
