Wine Review: This pale straw-colored Pinot Grigio opens with a peach, guava and tangerine bouquet with hints of wet stone. The light bodied palate is smooth and slightly dry with crisp acidity. The flavor profile is a ripe pineapple with notes of lemon, a touch of lime and hints of apricots. The acidity and minerality are integrated and balanced. The finish is dry and refreshing. This Italian Pinot Grigio is an easy-going summer sipper that should be served slightly chilled. A definite crowd pleaser at this price point. If you want to consider it with food, I would recommend pairing it with cantaloupe wrapped in prosciutto. - Joe
