Wine Review: This translucent ruby colored Zinfandel-based wine opens with a faint red plum and boysenberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced and round. The flavor profile is a spiced black plum and gentle blackberry blend with hint of black cherry, black pepper, oak, and a touch of golden raisin. The finish is dry and its mild dusty tannins and fruit fade away nicely. This easy to drink wine would pair very nicely with grilled steak tips. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Deep garnet-red color. Aromas of ripe raspberry and cherry fruits, fresh mint, exotic spices, with clay-earth minerals. Beautiful briary fruits on entry, medium-full body, integrated tannins, and great persistence to the finish.
