Wine Review: This slightly opaque and dark ruby colored Zin based blend opens with a black cherry bouquet with a hint of blueberry and oak. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic, and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a mild red raspberry with hints of spicy plum and pomegranate. I also detected a touch of oak in the background. The finish is dry and its pleasant flavors are nicely prolonged. This Zin blend is very food friendly and was well received by the panel. They suggested pairing it with slow cooked beef brisket or lamb stew. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Bramble, raspberry, cassis, toasted oak, and floral aromas; layered black cherry and currant, full bodied with well coated tannins and notes of licorice and black olive on the finish.
