Wine Review: This dark garnet colored wine opens with a ripe red raspberry bouquet with a hint of dried cranberry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and savory. The flavor profile is a tasty red raspberry with notes of strawberry licorice and spice. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins are slightly prolonged. Our mini group thought this wine would pair well with braised short ribs. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: This opulent Pagani exemplifies the complexity that can be drawn from old field-blend vines. Enjoyable now, it will develop fully over the next ten years. EB (1/09)
