Wine Review: This slightly cloudy and ruby colored Pinot Noir from Oregon is impressive. It opens with a pretty and light red raspberry and loam bouquet with hints of pomegranate and faint cola. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, and seamless. The flavor profile is a juicy red plum and black tea blend notes of loam and rhubarb. We also detected some hints of cranberry and teaberry. The finish is dry and its refined and dusty tannins are nicely sustained. We would pair this Pinot with beef bourguignon. Enjoy – Ken & Mark
Winemaker Notes: Our Willamette Valley Pinot Noir represents a blend of the finest vineyards in the Willamette Valley and includes grapes from our own estate vineyards, Résonance and Découverte. The 2022 vintage is a beautiful bright ruby color for this expressive wine, with aromas of blueberry, raspberry, orange peel, rose, lavender, black pepper, and morel mushroom. The palate is generous, fresh, and fruity, and the tannins are well balanced by a pleasant acidity: a wine that is very alive!
