Wine Review: This clear medium ruby colored Pinot Noir from Resonance opens with a cinnamon crumb cake and lavender potpourri bouquet with hints of raspberry, basil, and a touch of Band-Aid. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, silky smooth and fresh. The flavor profile is chai tea and red plum blend with notes of cedar and cola. We also detected hints of red licorice, subtle chalky minerality, and acai berry. The finish is dry, and its flavors and polished tannins fade away nicely. This Pinot benefits from some aeration at this point. So, the Tasting Panel would decant this Pinot before serving it with a mushroom risotto or with a baked honey glazed ham. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: The nose is expressive of wild strawberry, mulberry, rose, and cedar. The palate reveals a harmony between fresh fruitiness and savory richness, with a persistent, vibrant finish.
