Wine Review: This light brick red colored Barolo opens with a red cherry and cinnamon bouquet with hints rose petal, tea, and strawberry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and delicate for a Barolo. The flavor profile is a gentle cherry and faint cedar blend with notes of cinnamon, red licorice and black tea. We also detected hints of cranberry and red currant mixed in. The finish is dry and is mild tannins fade away nicely. We would pair this food friendly Barolo with chicken with cherry-wine pan sauce or veal scaloppini. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Color: Garnet red
A bouquet with traces of licorice and tobacco.
