Wine Review: This approachable Cabernet Franc from Mendoza, Argentina is a clear, medium ruby color and has aromas of red plum, red cherry bubble gum, tobacco leaf and spearmint. Medium bodied and quite smooth on the palate, it is balanced and moderately acidic, with plenty of fruit. There are flavors of juicy black plum, black currant, black pepper, oak, vanilla, and crushed stone along with a touch of spice and chocolate toward the back end. The polished tannins linger in a savory, long finish. Pair with grilled sirloin tips. - Mark
