Wine Review: This pale straw colored Viognier from Washington State is very good. It opens with a fragrant apricot and peach bouquet. On the palate, this wine is light to medium bodied, balanced and easy to drink. The flavor profile is a mild tangerine with hints of minerality and faint lime. The finish is dry and its flavors fade away nicely. This Viognier is very food friendly and would pair well with garlic parmesan orange roughy. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Fruit blossoms, stone fruit, tropical notes and mineral create a beautiful aromatic spring breeze. Cool fermentation in stainless steel captures refreshing flavors of orange blossom, guava, white peach, a small bite of banana with slate, loam and a wonderful acidity making it a perfect wine to pair with strawberries and goat cheese.
