Wine Review: This dark ruby colored red blend opens with fragrant blueberry and black plum bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and savory. The flavor profile is a tasty black cherry and red plum blend with hints of oak and touch of pomegranate and cinnamon. The finish is dry and its mild tannins and flavors drift away nicely. This red blend is food friendly and would pair well with beef bourguignon. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Our SoRho has a touch of rustic Southern Rhone charm with its earth, meat and lighter red fruit flavors. At first pour it shows macerated strawberry, pomegranate and earth which, after a few minutes evolves toward fresh strawberry. The palate displays a rustic fleshiness with a whiff of barrel toast, red currant, cranberry, and pomegranate, a hint of gooseberry, mushroom with lots of mineral and plush acidity… a perfect wine for Charcuterie.
