Wine Review: This very dark ruby colored Merlot from Washington opens with an oak and black cherry-cola bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, a little thin and easy going. The flavor profile is a light black cherry and oak blend with notes of black raspberry and a hint of black olive. The finish is dry and its mild tannins are friendly. The panel thought this would be a very nice option for a wedding and would pair it with coq au vin or Thanksgiving dinner. Enjoy - KWGTP
