Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Cabernet from Walla Walla, Washington opens with an attractive blueberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and smooth. The flavor profile is a tasty blueberry with nicely integrated oak. I also detected a touch of minerality and some black pepper. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins are a touch tingly and stick around for a while. This food friendly Cab would pair well with a roasted pork tenderloin. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Aromas of wet stones, blackberry, tar, pencil lead, blueberry and cassis. Medium to full bodied with approachable tannins. Flavors of dried fruits, blackberry, molasses and a dark chocolate finish.
