Wine Review: This dark ruby colored red blend from Washington opens with a gentle earth and black cherry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and smooth. The flavor profile is a gentle and easy going mild oak influenced black cherry with a touch of black pepper and smoky meat. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins are nicely prolonged. Joe and I agreed that this very nice red blend would pair well with Italian sweet sausage smothered with sauteed onion and roasted red peppers. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Buckle up for an unforgettable red wine roller coaster ride! This adventurous and fearless blend will take you straight through a tunnel of plum and hearty cherry marmalade. Twist and turn through a nose of baking spices, pipe tobacco. Prepare to splash into a finish of juicy pomegranate and red licorice. Trust me, you’ll get in line again for more.
